The Meaning of Pushti Marg – The Path of Grace
Vallabhacharya Ji : The Messenger of Pushti Marg taught that the highest way to reach God is not through fear, ritual, or renunciation, but through divine grace and loving service.
The word “Pushti” means “Grace” that which is given by the Lord Himself. Vallabhacharya Ji explained that God’s love cannot be earned through effort alone; it is received when we surrender our ego and allow His grace to enter our hearts.
He said,
“Do not try to reach Krishna through struggle. Let Him come to you through His mercy.”
In Pushti Marg, the devotee does not see God as distant or fearful, but as a loving child, friend, or beloved. The relationship is sweet, intimate, and full of affection just like the love between Radha and Krishna.
The Divine Vision and Mission of Vallabhacharya Ji
One night, Lord Krishna appeared to Vallabhacharya Ji in his meditation and gave him the divine command to spread Pushti Marg and establish the worship of Shri Nathji (a form of Krishna lifting Govardhan Hill).
